Arbains collection of Imam Nawawis hadiths are selected hadiths compiled by Imam Nawawi. Arbain means forty but actually there are forty-two hadith contained in this book. This book together is considered to be the work of Imam Nawawi who is very well known and accepted by Muslims throughout the world. In addition to the book Riyadhus Salihin, Imam Nawawi also authored this book; all of them became famous among students as memorizationImam Nawawi, who was a great scholar of the Shafiite school, was born in the village of Nawa, near the city of Damascus, in 631 AH and died in the year 24 Rajab 676 H.Imam Nawawi studied with Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Al-Ashari, Zainuddin bin Abdud Daim, Imaduddin bin Abdul Karim Al-Harastani, Zainuddin Abul Baqa, Khalid bin Yusuf Al-Maqdisi An-Nabalusi and Jamaluddin Ibn Ash-Shairafi, Taqiyuddin bin Abul Yusri, Syamsuddin bin Abu Umar.Imam Nawawi also studied fiqh of hadith at Shaykh al-Muhaqqiq Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Isa Al-Muradi Al-Andalusi, learned fiqh at Al-Kamal Ishaq bin Ahmad bin usman Al-Maghribi Al-Maqdisi, Syamsuddin Abdurrahman bin Noah and Izzuddin Al-Arbili and other teachers.Hopefully this application which contains the hadith of Arbain by Imam Nawawi is useful for us all.
